The most unique thing that a worker ever did was work on the pyramids.  The pyramids were used to bury the pharaohs when they died.  At first the pyramids were very easy to make, all the workers had to do was put a bunch of rocks on top of the pharaoh but the pyramids got better and better until they had huge pyramids in the sky and in the pyramid there were chambers after chambers leading to different rooms which took a long time for the workers.
