Egypt was a good spot because of the Nile river, which provided: Farmland, water, transportation, and trade. It also provided protection: Deserts, seas, and mountains that surrounded Egypt. I would have liked to be protected by all that stuff. It was divided into two types of land, the Black land and the Red land. The Black land was fertile and it was where the Egyptians did there farming. The Red land was where the barren desert that protected the Egyptians on both sides. This also divided the Egyptians from neighboring countries.
